Fat+Happy: Hatha Yoga (6 week series)

Yoga can sometimes feel intimidating or even competitive. Especially when we live in a big body, there can be pressure to “get it right” or squeeze our body into shapes that don’t work for us. F**k that! All bodies are good bodies and we use the practice to celebrate this fact!

In this class we will honour the trial and error that comes with finding what feels right in YOUR body. This class invites you to get to know your body and all that it can do in this moment while moving at a slow, strong and steady pace. When you allow yoga to meet you where you are, you let go of who you think you need to be and simply get into your body, mind and heart.

FAT+HAPPY WEEKLY INSPIRATION AND BOOK CLUB!

I am very excited to announce a new offering in our six week yoga sessions! Fat + Happy Weekly Inspo and Book Club! Each week, you will receive an email from me including a deep dive on our class themes, additional journaling prompts, and encouragement and inspo for your yoga practice and body acceptance journey. Plus! A fat positive book club!! We'll read our book over six weeks and wrap it all up with a bonus live Zoom to discuss and share. Our book for May/June is Happy Fat by Sophie Hagen and the club will meet on Thursday June 26 from 7:00 to 8:00pm PST. My cozy tea time heart is so excited and I hope you are too!


This offering is for you if: 
- you want to get inspired and stay on track with your yoga practice  
- you want an additional dose of fat positivity in your life 
- you want prompts on how to explore and apply our weekly themes
- you want further encouragement and support on your fat positive journey
- you want to read fat positive books and discuss them in a non judgemental space

Whether you identify as fat, full bodied, plus-sized or big bodied, please know that you deserve to find joy and freedom in movement and to feel good in your amazing body. Coming to a class that is designed specifically with you in mind is a great place to start!

Class recordings are provided for one week for those who can’t join live or simply want to practice again.
