This class offers those with bigger bodies a space to explore the yoga practice and variations of the poses that will work best for your individual body. Working with our breath, as well as trusting our body to tell us what it needs, this class is a beautiful combination of Hatha (poses for strengthening and stretching) and Yin (long holds for stretching the deep tissue in the body). For the first half of the class, we will move and breathe and build up a sweat, and then for the second half, we will slow it right down and focus on deep stretching and relaxation. You will leave this class feeling relaxed and refreshed.
This class is for all levels; people specifically looking for a beginners class are welcome to start with Full Bodied Yoga: Beginners
